To prevent the clogging of the aeration pipes, wood chips are dispensed into the aeration trenches. These wood chips must be changed periodically. For this purpose, we have developed a machine that first cleans out the moist wood chips from the aeration trenches with a plow while dispensing fresh material at the same time. The trench cleaner is attached via the 3-point hitch of a tractor.
